Our Mission & Approach
Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. I such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, Zonta Internationial has grown to include more than 1,200 clubs in 66 countries with more than 31,000 members.
The Zonta Club of Kenmore partnered with the Zonta Club of Grand Island and the Zonta Club of Niagara Fall
in assembling Birthing Kits that will be provided to women giving birth in developing countries. These are often life saving kits that help the women have a clean and healthier environment when having their babies.
