SERVICE AWARDS
The money raised for Service Awards comes from the Zonta Club of Kenmore fundraisers, which include a Pancake Breakfast, Lucky Number Brunch, and other fundraisers held throughout the year.
THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY OF OUR CLUB SUPPORTERS, WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITY SERVICES:
CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES ADVOCATE WITH KENMORE POLICE DEPARTMENT
CRISIS SERVICES ADVOCATE – TOWN OF TONAWANDA POLICE DEPARTMENT
KEN-TON MEALS ON WHEELS
PREVENTION FOCUS SUPPER CLUB
This 10-week program allows Ken-Ton middle school girls the opportunity to learn to plan and cook meals from scratch. Sessions include nutrition, budgeting, and most important of all the opportunity for the friendships to develop as well as personal growth.
WOMEN VETERANS HEALTH CARE
Funds are used for the purchase of clothes, phones and personal care items female veterans need when returning to civilian life. We are proud to help Women Veterans who have bravely served our Country.
In addition, members volunteered to be a part of the annual Hospice Bouquet assembly.
Also, our members continue to donate time and resources to the North Buffalo/ Kenmore Food Pantry which serves our 14217 zip code.
